The OIAAA, in collaboration with the OHSAA, will again offer its Summer Professional Development Institute from June 11-13, 2019. All sessions of the highly successful Summer Institute will be held at the offices of the OHSAA, 4080 Roselea Place in Columbus.

There will be a total of twelve, 4-hour training sessions that can be taken as single or multiple-course opportunities.  For those participants new (or within their first three years) to interscholastic athletic administration, there is a “New A.D. Tract” of courses which will provide a strong foundation to successful education-based athletic administration.  These classes can be taken as either “stand-alone” courses or as a series of courses over the three days of the Summer Institute.

For athletic administrators seeking more in-depth and broader topics within interscholastic athletics, there will be multiple Leadership Training Courses (LTC) which will provide valuable data for participants.  All LTC courses can be counted toward earning RAA, CAA, RMSAA and CMAA national certifications.

All courses offered during the Summer Institute will provide CEU credit to attendees.  Additionally, participants can choose to receive 1 or 2 semester credits from Ashland University. Registrants who are OIAAA members will receive a $10 discount for every LTC course; OIAAA members will receive LTC 501 and LTC 502 free of charge.
